Terms & Conditions
This agreement is between you, the “User” of this Web Site (the “Site”) and Septodont Limited (hereinafter “Septodont”), the owner of this Web Site. This notice is issued by Septodont Limited (company Number 02023480) whose registered office is at Units R&S Orchard Business Centre, St Barnabas Close, Allington, Kent ME16 0JZ. Contact email address email@example.com.
Your agreement to comply with and be bound by these terms and conditions is deemed to occur upon your first use of the Site. If you do not agree to be bound by these terms and conditions, you should stop using the Site immediately.
1. Definitions and Interpretation
In this Agreement the following terms shall have the following meanings:
means any text, graphics, images, audio, video, software, data compilations and any other form of information capable of being stored in a computer that appears on or forms part of the Site;
means Septodont Limited with Registered Address at Units R&S, Orchard Business Centre, St Barnabas Close, Allington, Maidstone, Kent ME16 0JZ;
means collectively any online facilities, tools, services or information that Septodont makes available through the Site either now or in the future;
means any online communications infrastructure that Septodont makes available through the Site either now or in the future. This includes, but is not limited to, web-based email, message boards, live chat facilities and email links;
means any third party that accesses the Site and is not employed by Septodont, nor acting in the course of their employment; and
means the website that you are currently using (www.septodontlearning.co.uk) and any sub-domains of this site
2. Intellectual Property
2.1 All Content included on the Site, including, but not limited to, text, graphics, logos, icons, images, sound clips, video clips, data compilations, page layout, underlying code and software is the property of Septodont, our affiliates or other relevant third parties. By continuing to use the Site the User acknowledges that such material is protected by applicable United Kingdom and International intellectual property and other relevant laws.
2.2 The User may not reproduce, edit, copy, distribute, store or in any other fashion re-use material from the Site unless otherwise indicated on the Site or unless given express written permission to do so by Septodont.
2.3 The User may view and down load material from the Site if it is for personal use only and subject to sub-clause 2.2.
3. Links to Other Web Sites
The Site may contain links to other web sites. Unless expressly stated, these sites are not under the control of Septodont or that of our affiliates. We assume no responsibility for the content of such web sites and disclaim liability for any and all forms of loss or damage arising out of the use of them. The inclusion of a link to another site on the Site does not imply any endorsement of the web sites themselves or of those in control of them.
4. Links to this Web Site
Those wishing to place a link to the Site on other web sites may do so only to the home page of the web site without prior permission. Deep linking (i.e. links to specific pages within the web site) requires the express permission of Septodont. To find out more please contact us by email at firstname.lastname@example.org .
Access to certain areas of the Site is restricted. If Septodont provides a user ID and password to enable the User to access restricted areas of the Site the User must ensure that the password is kept confidential. The User is responsible for any activity on the Site arising out of any failure to keep the User password confidential and may be liable for any losses arising out of such failure. Septodont may disable the User’s user ID and password at any time at Septodont’s sole discretion with or without notice or explanation.
6.1 Septodont makes no warranty or representation that the Site will meet the User requirements, that it will be of satisfactory quality, that it will be fit for a particular purpose, that it will not infringe the rights of third parties, that it will be compatible with all systems, that it will be secure and that all information provided will be accurate. Septodont makes no guarantee of any specific results from the use of our Service.
6.2 Septodont does not warrant the completeness or accuracy of the information on the Site, nor does Septodont commits to ensuring that the Site remains available or that the material on the Site is kept up to date.
6.3 No part of the Site is intended to constitute advice and the Content of the Site should not be relied upon when making any decisions or taking any action of any kind.
7. Availability of the Site
The Service is provided “as is” and on an “as available” basis. Septodont gives no warranty that the Service will be free of defects and/or faults. To the maximum extent permitted by the law Septodont provides no warranties (express or implied) of fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of information, compatibility and satisfactory quality.
Septodont accepts no liability for any disruption or non-availability of the Site resulting from external causes including, but not limited to, ISP equipment failure, host equipment failure, communications network failure, power failure, natural events, acts of war or legal restrictions and censorship.
8. Limitation of Liability
8.1 To the maximum extent permitted by law, Septodont accepts no liability for any direct or indirect loss or damage, foreseeable or otherwise, including any indirect, consequential, special or exemplary damages arising from the use of the Site or any information contained therein. Septodont will not be liable to you in respect of any loss or corruption of any data, database or software resulting from the use of the Site. The Users should be aware that they use the Site and its Content at their own risk.
8.2 Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or restricts Septodont liability for death or personal injury resulting from any negligence or fraud on the part of Septodont.
8.3 Every effort has been made to ensure that these Terms and Conditions adhere strictly with the relevant provisions of the Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977. However, in the event that any of these terms are found to be unlawful, invalid or otherwise unenforceable, that term is to be deemed severed from these Terms and Conditions and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining terms and conditions. This term shall apply only within jurisdictions where a particular term is illegal.
10. Breaches of these Terms and Conditions
Without prejudice to Septodont rights under these Terms and Conditions, if the User breaches these Terms and Conditions in any way, Septodont may take such action as Septodont deems appropriate to deal with the breach, including suspending the User access to the Site, contacting the User internet service provider to request that they block the User access to the Site and/or bringing court proceedings against you.
11. No Waiver
In the event that any party to these Terms and Conditions fails to exercise any right or remedy contained herein, this shall not be construed as a waiver of that right or remedy.
12. Previous Terms and Conditions
In the event of any conflict between these Terms and Conditions and any prior versions thereof, the provisions of these Terms and Conditions shall prevail unless it is expressly stated otherwise.
All notices/communications shall be made to Septodont either by post to Septodont Registered Address or by email at email@example.com . Such notice will be deemed received 3 days after posting if sent by first class post, the day of sending if the email is received in full on a business day and on the next business day if the email is sent on a weekend or public holiday.
14. Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions and the relationship between the User and Septodont shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the Law of England and Wales and Septodont and the User agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of England and Wales.
Attending the event
It may be necessary for reasons beyond our control to change the content and timing of the programme, the speakers, the date or the venue at any time prior to the event date.
Course papers/delegate pack
Delegate pack will be issued on the day of the event. It is made available only to those attending the event and should not be reproduced. Delegate packs are provided for the sole use of the delegate and may not be reproduced whether in whole or part, shared or distributed by any method whatsoever without prior permission of the copyright owner.
External speakers alone are responsible for the content of their respective sessions. It is the policy of Septodont to give the fullest freedom to contributors/speakers to express their opinions. The opinions expressed by the speakers do not necessarily represent the views of Septodont. Septodont will make every effort to ensure the validity and accuracy of the information provided.
Septodont accepts no liability if a delegate is unable to attend an event due to adverse weather conditions or any travel disruption. Septodont makes every effort to negotiate free parking for delegates at venues outside of London. However, we reserve the right to use venues which may incur a car parking charge.
Food and drink
Usually, light refreshments will be provided at all our events. However, we reserve the right to decide whether this is a hot or cold meal and that this is subject to change. The level of catering will vary for all other events.
If you have any access requirements or any additional needs that will require assistance, please inform us of this at the point of booking. Any requests must be made to us at least one week before the event to ensure we are able to meet your requirements in full.
Filming and sound recording
Septodont reserves the right to film, record or photograph any of the speakers at an event. Delegates should be aware that in these cases, they may be inadvertently included in the images or sound recordings and reproduced accordingly for Septodont use.
Individuals may not film or record the lectures/events without receiving written permission beforehand from both Septodont and the lecturer.
After the event
Delegates are asked to complete a feedback form at the end of each event. This would allow Septodont to continue to improve and tailor future events more closely to your requirements.
